Lo Mai Gai - Steamed Chicken and Mushroom with Sticky Rice

~ Another traditional treat that is still popular in many Asian cities and in most food precinct around these cities.

Often served as part of a Dim Sum or Yum Cha session depending on which part of Asia you are in. It should be consumed in moderation since Glutenous Rice is high in GI. They are usually sold in small portions, a bit smaller than a standard Rice bowl. Also eaten as a snack or as supper (light meal late at night).

Please drop me a note/comment if you would like the recipe for this tasty morsel.

Wu Tao Go - Savoury Yam Slice

~ One of my all time favourites, this dish is easy to make and goes a long way.

This street food is commonly sold by street vendors along with other traditional sweets.
Often eaten at breakfast or as a snack for morning tea, the Yam slice also goes well with Hor Fun (flat rice noodles) and a curry sauce.
